Het werken met SAM heeft mij niet alleen als ervaringsdeskundige, maar ook persoonlijk geholpen om mijn eigen stress beter te begrijpen en te verminderen. Zo dacht ik lange tijd dat sporten mij hielp om te ontspannen. Door mijn stresspatronen inzichtelijk te maken met SAM ontdekte ik dat ik soms juist te intensief sportte, waardoor mijn stress later op de dag toenam. Deze inzichten hebben mij geholpen om beter naar mijn lichaam te luisteren en bewustere keuzes te maken.<\/p>\n

Dit project heeft me veel geleerd over wat participatief ontwerpen in de praktijk betekent. Co-creatie klinkt mooi op papier, maar het is een veelzijdig proces vol leermomenten, onverwachte wendingen, diepe gesprekken en gedeelde ervaringen.<\/p>\n

Het is waardevol om te zien dat de beschreven kennis ruim vijf jaar later nog steeds actueel is. Het project heeft geleid tot nieuwe initiatieven en meer landelijke aandacht voor palliatieve zorg voor mensen met een psychiatrische aandoening.<\/p>\n

Terugkijkend heb ik het werken aan het onderzoek als intensief, leerzaam en waardevol ervaren. Het was mijn eerste grote onderzoeksproject en ik merkte hoe anders het voelt om niet alleen behandelaar, maar ook onderzoeker te zijn. In het begin moest ik echt mijn weg vinden tussen die twee rollen. Als behandelaar wilde ik gezinnen vooruithelpen, terwijl ik als onderzoeker vooral moest observeren, structureren en analyseren. Gaandeweg groeide mijn bewustzijn over wanneer welke rol passend was, en dat was voor mij een belangrijk leermoment.<\/p>\n

Aan het begin van het onderzoek werd ik ge\u00efnterviewd voor dit project. Ik begon enthousiast, maar had niet verwacht dat het project zo omvangrijk zou zijn. Ik heb het heel waardevol gevonden om het samen met ouders (om wie het per slot van rekening gaat) te doen. Het kwalitatief interviewen van ouders en hulpverleners gaf me veel mooie inzichten.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Het leukste van het project vond ik toch wel de uitdaging om de stappen in het onderzoek zelf ook zo visueel en concreet mogelijk met de ouders van de projectgroep en klankbordgroep te delen. Practice what you preach<\/em>!<\/p>\n

Het werken aan dit project liet zien hoe belangrijk het is om theorie en praktijk met elkaar te verbinden. Tijdens het proces werd zichtbaar hoeveel kennis en ervaring al aanwezig is bij begeleiders, maar ook hoeveel behoefte er bestaat aan een gezamenlijke taal en praktische houvast.<\/p>\n

Wat het project bijzonder maakte, was de combinatie van onderzoek en dagelijkse praktijk. Het gaf inzicht in wat begeleiders daadwerkelijk helpt in complexe situaties. Het werken aan dit project heeft de kijk op implementatie veranderd: succesvolle verandering vraagt tijd, herhaling en betrokkenheid op alle niveaus in de organisatie.<\/p>\n

Het werken aan dit onderzoek was voor ons als projectgroep bijzonder betekenisvol. Het vertalen van een abstract thema als \u2018digitaal burgerschap\u2019 naar concrete tools die echt iets betekenen in de huiskamer van een cli\u00ebnt, gaf veel voldoening.<\/p>\n

Een belangrijk leermoment was dat digitale verbondenheid begint bij oprechte nieuwsgierigheid. Begeleiders die zelf weinig affiniteit hadden met de digitale wereld, ontdekten dat ze door samen een spel te spelen een heel andere ingang kregen in de leefwereld van hun cli\u00ebnten. Dit project heeft laten zien dat digitale begeleiding geen \u2018extraatje\u2019 is, maar een essentieel onderdeel van goed begeleiderschap. Het vraagt om een cultuurverandering die begint bij kleine, tastbare stappen.<\/p>\n

Dit onderzoek naar rouw, verlies en de persisterende-rouwstoornis heb ik als zeer waardevol ervaren. <\/span><\/source-inline-chip><\/sources-carousel-inline>Vooral de \u2018eye-openers\u2019 tijdens de interviews met behandelaren zullen mij nog lang bijblijven. Een belangrijke drijfveer voor dit project was het overlijden van de pati\u00ebnt wiens verhaal de aanleiding vormde voor dit onderzoek. Tijdens de eerste sessie van onze focusgroep, die gericht was op het bespreekbaar maken van rouw, deelden alle deelnemers hun eigen persoonlijke ervaringen met verlies. Dit zorgde voor een bijzondere start en een sterke onderlinge verbondenheid binnen de groep.<\/p>\n

Ik heb dit onderzoekstraject ervaren als een bijzonder mooie reis. Pas halverwege het project, vanaf ongeveer twee derde van het traject, besefte ik dat dit niet alleen een wetenschappelijk project was, maar ook een weg waarlangs ik mezelf persoonlijk mocht ontwikkelen. Toen ik dat inzicht eenmaal volledig omarmde, groeide mijn zelfvertrouwen en kreeg ik veel meer plezier in het onderzoek zelf. Doordat de verschillende onderdelen van het project ook daadwerkelijk slaagden, groeide het besef: ik k\u00e1n dit onderzoek uitvoeren. Hoewel ik veel acties zelf moest ondernemen, stond ik er nooit alleen voor; door ervaringen uit te wisselen met andere onderzoekers vonden we herkenning bij elkaar en konden we elkaar bemoedigen.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Wat dit project voor mij echt waardevol maakte, was de feitelijke bevestiging van de resultaten. De uitkomsten laten duidelijk zien dat extra beweging een enorme meerwaarde heeft. Bewoners die de wens hebben om meer te bewegen, ervaren door dit project een daadwerkelijke verbetering in hun zelfstandigheid bij dagelijkse handelingen en in hun algehele kwaliteit van leven.<\/p>\n

Dit traject heeft mijn manier van kijken naar de zorg blijvend be\u00efnvloed. Het heeft mij geleerd dat we als professionals heel goed moeten luisteren naar de specifieke wensen van de bewoners. Wanneer we daar echt gehoor aan geven en de juiste faciliteiten bieden, heeft dat een directe en positieve impact op hun dagelijks bestaan.<\/p>\n
